As a quickly growing startup in the tech and wellbeing space, we welcome individuals with native social media experience who also share a passion for mental and physical health and wellbeing.

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring Sensate’s social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve results of marketing initiatives, and grow a welcoming community that offers valuable content to both leads and customers alike.

Ideally you will be located or able to work part time during flexible hours between 8:00 – 14:00 EST, as this will be a fully remote position. We are hoping to move quickly and offer this role on a contract basis.

Rate: $20 per hour, 25 hours per week (assumes $2,150 per month)

Core Responsibilities

This position has significant growth opportunities to take on increased responsibilities and autonomy, and to become a practice lead representing social media as part of the marketing team. There will also be scope to expand this role into other related marketing areas, like the influencer program, as well as to increase hours to a full time position.

Our social media coordinator is primarily responsible for directly managing the planning and execution on Sensate’s social media accounts, with a majority of the focus on Instagram, as well as expanding on secondary channels. The role also works directly with our influencer marketing team to support recruitment efforts, activations and tracking. The key deliverables will be to implement and manage Sensate’s social media strategy to grow the footprint and engagement of each account.

  • Work with copywriters, designers or an agency to ensure content is informative, on-message and eye catching, and maintains standards of the Sensate style guidelines

  • Manage and oversee social media content posting

  • Measure key social media and influencer KPIs

  • Measure the subjective success of social media and influencer campaigns

  • Keep informed about the latest social media best practices and platform updates

  • Use social media marketing tools such as HubSpot

  • Monitor messaging, themes and user engagement, and suggest content improvements

  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

  • Provide regular reporting and constructive feedback to help guide fellow team members

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

​​We are looking for an entry-level Social Media Coordinator with 1 – 2 years of experience to join our marketing team. In addition to being passionate about the Sensate product, excited about the work described, and a good fit for our team, the following experience and skills will drive the right candidate to success in this role:

  • Some previous experience creating social media content and managing social accounts

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Organized, efficient and self-driven/motivated

  • Able to work with a remote team, with excellent communication skills

  • Attentive to detail and ability to work autonomously

  • Able to prioritize workload and work to agreed deadlines

  • Prior basic experience with a social media scheduling or analytics platform

  • Prior experience with Meta (Facebook) Business dashboard for messaging inboxes is a plus, but not required

  • Excellent written English skills
